This work was aimed at assisting the Copperbelt Environment Project and the Government of Zambia to ensure that mining activities comply with national environmental legislation, in particular the Environmental Protection and Pollution Control Act and the Mines and Minerals Act and subsidiary sections on mining Environment Regulations. PMTC (Zambia) supplied a team of 4 consultants for this project. (2002)
