Amy helps secure an International Networking grant!
Harewelle-sponsored research student, Amy Barnes, has been successful in helping the University of Sheffield, with the Aga Khan University (Pakistan) and the Universities of Ghana and Zambia, to secure an international networking grant from the UK Economic and Social Research Council. The Network will bring together an international team of academics and practitioners to help understand the relationship between 'participation' and 'health'. One outcome will be the development of a policy-relevant guidance on the role of participation in programmes aimed at health systems strengthening. The Network is due to meet for the first time this month!
Website for the network is currently in preparation, but for further information, please contact Amy Barnes a.barnes@sheffield.ac.uk
Amy’s research into project management methodologies for donor-funded aid to the health sector in Zambia, is being co-sponsored by Harewelle International and University of Sheffield, under an ESRC CASE Studentship scheme.
