Ashley Thomas (Commissioned Services Coordinator - DEW Point - UK)

Ashley joined Harewelle in 2011 as the Commissioned Services Coordinator for the Harewelle International led DEW Point Resource Centre for Environment, Climate Change, Water and Sanitation. Her responsibilities include coordinating projects under a framework for technical assignments, assembling and producing proposals in response to specific commissions and providing technical research and support to consultants and DEW Point colleagues.

Prior to moving to the UK, she lived in Ethiopia and Zambia for 4 years working to provide rural water supply through technical capacity building of local manufacturers and private sector development of the supply chain. As an experienced mechanical engineer, with a focus on water supply and mechanical design in developing countries, she brings a technical background to support her project management experience.

Ashley has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Applied International Studies from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
